Kimono Dress

Kimono dress apparently originated in Kyoto, as all purely Japanese things do. It's really a great alternative for kids because first of all if you don't have the right person putting you in the kimono, it can be pretty tough for little kids to stand in a kimono all day for 7-5-3 or wedding reception. Two, you can run around all you want and it won't mess up the kimono. It's pretty brilliant I think. Of course conventional kimonos are great too but this is a fun way to enjoy kimono in a different way.
